Dr. Zainab Jamali

Dr. Jamali is the Chief of Anesthesia at the Ville Marie Surgery Institute.

Dr Jamali has spent most of her life in Montreal where most of her education has taken place. Dr. Jamali completed her undergraduate degree where she graduated magna cum laude from
Tufts University in Boston. Subsequently she completed both her medical degree and her post-graduate training in Anesthesiology from McGill University. She worked 15 years as a staff
physician at Lasalle Hospital only to return as a full-time staff at the MUHC. She is currently completing an intense training in HealthCare Leadership Management, a combined program
offered by the McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management. Dr. Jamali is thrilled at having the opportunity to spearhead this new
endeavour.
